Communitaire La Croisee


Approximately $9000.00 in managed funds to allocate, an Association community storage shed to grow event materials and recreation activities with dedicated electrical supply, an established locally hosted community website with non-profit tools, ability to communicate and offer community consensus on issues when required.

However, we have reached a point where we simply can’t keep going without more support on the Board of Directors. To stay alive, our Community Association urgently requires the following:

ChairMust be Francophone (bilingual)
Become familiar with our non-profit resources and administration
Comfortable leading a Board of Director meeting – we’re all friendly neighbours
Aware of local municipal issues/news
Maintain respected, positive communication with external partners on behalf of the Community Association when required
Full on-boarding guidance/support from remaining Board members is available
Administrative supportBecome familiar with fundamental Association non-profit administration requirements. (Annual documentation and reporting requirements)
All guidance with established procedures and templates provided.
Community Website supportMust be familiar and have experience with WordPress
Willing to learn integration of current plugins, offer proposals for development of required functions
Provide support in post/page, newsletter and form creation
Maintain good relationship with Host server provider (Solutions Informatiques BIOS)  

(In a typical year, the Board of Directors meets 5 or 6 times a year. At most, it takes only a few hours of your time, throughout the year.
And that time – is always fun and creative with your neighbours!)
