Eventually, we will be getting new neighbours in the west end, just north of Provigo. This is Phase 1a of the expansion of La Croisée.

The following was outlined in the Project Analysis produced by the City of Gatineau Planning Advisory Committee received from our Councillor Mike Duggan on June 6th, 2019:

“The proposal for Phase 1 of the La Croisée project aims to offer a variety of typologies of dwellings for a total of 236 dwellings distributed according to different typologies and building templates, ranging from multi-single detached dwelling houses. The proposed typologies are available in 35 dwellings single family homes, 34 semi-detached single family dwellings, 10 single-family dwellings and 157 multi-family dwellings (two isolated buildings of six dwellings, one isolated building of eight dwellings, one isolated building of 11 dwellings as well as nine buildings in twinned structure of 14 dwellings) (annexes 4 and 6).”

A new high school is also going in the area and the timeline for the neighbourhood development will likely follow that construction, very soon.

  • La Croisée residents are voting…

    La Croisée residents are voting…

This Sunday, Gatineau Golf Club – 9:30am to 8:00pm

    …and here’s why:

Active voter participation builds healthier, engaged communities.

Voting is a way of connecting to, and caring about – our neighbourhoods, our governments, and the direction of public policy.

Elected officials are more likely to respond to the needs and concerns of neighbourhoods that turn out.

    La Croisee-Citizens

Municipal Administrations are more responsive to local non-profit Community Associations that represent voters that have turned out in greater numbers.

You make room at that table for your community.

Democracy can’t be taken for granted or left to be redefined by other interests.

If not yours, other voices will fill the void – not of your wanting.

Your vote is important.  And, you can walk to the polling station!
