Our annual Community Christmas event, in support of the Aylmer Food Centre, will be held Sunday, December 15, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. at the Gatineau Golf Club.
This event is free. There will hot chocolate/cookies, face painting, canapé/ hors d’œuvres, cash bar, music and fun.
Santa Claus will be there (lots of room to land his sleigh at the Golf course).
Photos with Santa are available from 10:00 am to 12:00pm ($5:00 ea).
Eventually, we will be getting new neighbours in the west end, just north of Provigo. This is Phase 1a of the expansion of La Croisée.

The following was outlined in the Project Analysis produced by the City of Gatineau Planning Advisory Committee received from our Councillor Mike Duggan on June 6th, 2019:
“The proposal for Phase 1 of the La Croisée project aims to offer a variety of typologies of dwellings for a total of 236 dwellings distributed according to different typologies and building templates, ranging from multi-single detached dwelling houses. The proposed typologies are available in 35 dwellings single family homes, 34 semi-detached single family dwellings, 10 single-family dwellings and 157 multi-family dwellings (two isolated buildings of six dwellings, one isolated building of eight dwellings, one isolated building of 11 dwellings as well as nine buildings in twinned structure of 14 dwellings) (annexes 4 and 6).”

A new high school is also going in the area and the timeline for the neighbourhood development will likely follow that construction, very soon.

Everyone is invited to sell items in our community garage sale on June 1st from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
If you have items you’d like to try and sell instead of throw away, bring them outside on your driveway and join your neighbours on June 1st.
Our Community Association will provide advertising for this event.
You can register to participate in our Community Garage Sale below. We will create a map of the houses participating to help people find your driveway. We may also send you any updates on this event.
If you would like to donate leftover items that you do not sell to Big Brothers/Big Sisters (charity) after the sale, click the box in the registration form and we will arrange for pick-up.
